Hey! You're viewing Merry-Go-Round, a premade layout offered as part of Frail Frivolity Designs May 2010 Request Week. This layout features a Pixiv artwork of Heiwajima Shizuo and Orihara Izaya from the series Durarara!! This is made for Mei of Kumori. She requested a Shizuo and Izaya layout and, being a Durarara fangirl myself, who am I to refuse? ;) Green, beige and light pink with shades of gray was used as a color scheme. I tried to make a "muted hues" effect to this layout - so it'll be simple, clean and smooth. The inspiration for the layout was Puddle of Mudd's song Merry-Go-Round - catchy song and it's real upbeat.

This layout is quite simply coded and real easy to use. The title above is customizable. There is a small navigation on the top too, which can alternatively be used to hold your site subtitle. There is also a nice navigation to your right plus this huge content space. This layout is made with tables, html, css, love and fangirling tendencies. So follow the terms of use and enjoy the layout! ♥

Using and Usage

Nobody wants to hang out with rejection man

  1. Extract the .zip file you downloaded.
  2. Open index.html with your favorite plain text editor (e.g. NotePad) or your HTML editor (e.g. Frontpage or Dreamweaver) and edit your navigation and content, following the 'pattern' on the template. There are comments in the code to guide you. Do NOT alter the codes unless necessary and unless you know perfectly well what you are doing. Do NOT alter or remove links back to Frail Frivolity Designs and the other resource sites stated in the Credits.
  3. Duplicate the index.html, change its filename and alter the content to make multiple pages. Just be sure to configure the navigation properly.
  4. REMEMBER TO SAVE THE FILES AS .HTML or ANY OTHER FILE TYPE FOR THE WEB.
  5. After you're done customizing the layout and finishing your site/blog/webpage, upload ALL the files to your server/host.
  6. For any problems/conflicts/suggestions/comments regarding anything about this layout, feel free to contact me.
**IMPORTANT:
  • Direct-linking, stealing and copying any part or component of this layout is NOT allowed.
  • NO removing of the links back and/or watermarks of Frail Frivolity Designs in this layout. Give the resources some credit, too.
