This is Queen of Edible Hearts, a premade layout by Frail Frivolity Designs featuring Art by Rie. This image is just so beautiful that just right after using it for a site version, I did a premade of it right away. This is really really really similar to the "Hear No Evil" Vocaloid layout it came after. I did them after one another and I also wanted a darker counterpart than the gray-and-aqua layout, so this is how QoEH came to being. There's a wallpaper counterpart at FFD if you're interested! ^_^
This is made with divs, html, css and hearts. I wanted this to be as simple and small as possible. It's been a while since I did a "smaller" layout. I usually do humonguous divs and tables. There's a fixed navigation space to the right and then this small content space. Recommended for smaller sites but can work out well if you utilize it creatively to your benefit. Enjoy the layout!
Using and Usage
- Extract the .zip file you downloaded.
- Open index.html with your favorite plain text editor (e.g. NotePad) or your HTML editor (e.g. Frontpage or Dreamweaver) and edit your navigation and content, following the 'pattern' on the template. There are comments in the code to guide you. Do NOT alter the codes unless necessary and unless you know perfectly well what you are doing. Do NOT alter or remove links back to Frail Frivolity Designs and the other resource sites stated in the Credits.
- Duplicate the index.html, change its filename and alter the content to make multiple pages. Just be sure to configure the navigation properly.
- REMEMBER TO SAVE THE FILES AS .HTML or ANY OTHER FILE TYPE FOR THE WEB.
- After you're done customizing the layout and finishing your site/blog/webpage, upload ALL the files to your server/host.
- For any problems/conflicts/suggestions/comments regarding anything about this layout, feel free to contact me.
- Direct-linking, stealing and copying any part or component of this layout is NOT allowed.
- NO removing of the links back and/or watermarks of Frail Frivolity Designs in this layout. Give the resources some credit, too.
- NO republishing and/or archiving of any of my works on other sites, unless you have written permission to do so.
