Every pain to be avoided

In a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided. But in certain circumstances and owing to the claims of duty or the obligations of business it will frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted. The wise man therefore always holds in these matters to this principle of selection: he rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures, or else he endures pains to avoid worse pains.

Using and Usage

  1. Extract the .zip file you downloaded.
  2. Open index.html with your favorite plain text editor (e.g. NotePad) or your HTML editor (e.g. Frontpage or Dreamweaver) and edit your header image/design, navigation and content, following the 'pattern' on the template. There are comments in the code to guide you.
  3. Open style.css to customize the colors, sizes and positions of the elements to match your design if some elements need tweaking.
  4. Follow the terms of use on the usage of this template!
  5. For any problems/conflicts/suggestions/comments regarding anything about this template, feel free to contact me.
