Hello! I am Ali, a self-taught artist doing mainly character illustration and design with different vibrant colors and styles. I create both fan and original content as part of various personal projects, and occasionally for commission work.

I’ve been creating and sharing stuff in the internet for more than a decade. Back in my teens, I started designing blog layouts and graphics, as well as coded my own websites for a hobby. Nowadays I do it for work, but I still like to maintain my own personal site on the side, for my own little projects.

Later on, I built my skills up in digital art and illustration, drawing both original characters and fan art of anime, comics, cartoons and other media that I love.

Besides all that, I also love doing crafts like building model kits and fiber arts! All things that help you create with your hands. ♥

About The Site

I’m keeping this site as both my art portfolio to highlight selected works, and as an archive of all my past art.

I’ve been posting art online for so long, and with the ever-shifting landscape of the internet for artists, I’ve also moved platforms several times. So I decided to make a personalized archive to store all of that history in a place I can maintain myself, without worrying about when the next big social media or sharing site might make drastic changes that compromise artists and creators like myself.

So here it is! Part of Curiousest.Net, my online playground – my lil archive is up!

As of August 2016 – all my works I’ve posted on Tumblr, Twitter and other places online since 2011 up to the present are now here. Also archived are selected designs and downloadables from my now defunct old design website, Frail-Frivolity.Net. Yay! ✧｡٩(ˊᗜˋ )و✧*｡

[1.2] NEW SECTION Frail-Frivolity.Net Archive is now up, along with the gallery/download posts for a select few graphics/designs including icons, wallpapers and HTML layouts - posted under the 2011 year/dates. Those designs may be dated, but they're still real pretty! ^-^)

[1.1.0] LANDMARK UPDATE as we just finished archiving from 2011 to present. Next plans: a little corner/page from my old home, Frail Frivolity Designs, from the late 00's! And some enhancements if I can find time for 'em.

[1.1.0] Changed the body font text to be more readable. It *is* much more readable now isn't it ahahaha (^-^)/ Mostly it's just because kaomojis don't look so good in the previous one <(￣︶￣)>

[1.0.6] Naming this version "PIXEL COTTON CANDY" because that is the vibe we're going for. Tweaked a few settings and fixed some minor kinks. We should be good to go! Launching this online in a day or two. Next updates will probably have some back-end improvements and minor changes to the look.

[1.0.0] The new revamped site is up! We got graphics and colors and a functional site that is also (mostly) responsive. Made for desktop (because I am grandma) but will adjust enough to be nice to look at in your phone.

[0.5.0] Site setup and theme uploaded! Just a rough layout that looks nice while I populate the archive! I plan for this to hold works as far back at 2018, so it's gonna take a while to upload all of those!
