Xue Yang’s babysitting services are Exclusive aka “Only When Xiao Xingchen Asks”.

For others he is “busy”.

He kinda always regrets it because Xiao Xingchen tends to wander off & the errands take longer. But it’s okay bc XXC always has sweets for him & tells him he’s a very nice boy.

Song Lan always comes over to help XXC and A-Qing when he has free time. Xue Yang always conveniently comes up with an excuse to leave when this happens. Xiao Xingchen concludes that XY is just shy and is hiding from his crush, bc who wouldn’t have a crush on Song Lan?

XXC does not know that Xue Yang is just embarrassed bc when he first met Song Lan he told the guy that he will steal his boyfriend from him.
