Quinn: actual queen, outstanding girlfriend, professional photographer, sometimes does vocals; Van: lead and vocals, killer smile, much nerd very dork,; Jace: keyboard, grumpy genius, filthy rich; Vlad: bass and composition, kitchen domestic god, might be a metamorphmagus with his changing hair colors, owns the house; Ara: actual princess, daddy’s girl, MIA bio-mom but has five parents to more than make up for it; and Cole: drums, leader, super dad, works 3 jobs + gigs, ended up adopting four overgrown children before he knew it.

Jace and Vlad (aka The Pasty One and Color-kid)

I was going through old OC sketches and I found this and I can’t stop laughing. They’re childhood friends and sweethearts and also bandmates (keyboard and bass) and don’t worry they married each other eventually.

Back in college I had a series of short stories about this band that eventually became this little found family. A few months ago I started a project to illustrate some of the stories.

I posted the first and only finished chapter on Tapastic, but then another project + IRL stuff kicked in and the thing was scrapped (huhu). So now I guess I’ll just post the whole thing here instead. This is the (rly short) story of how the band started out.
